Travel to Marseille, France

The urban safari of Southern France

Once the wicked sister of the west, this city has propelled into the 21st century, reinventing itself into a lively urban culture. Having been the center of French trade for centuries, Marseille boasts multicultural influence and eccentric character. From the delicious food sold fresh at the markets, to the underground music scene. Soak up the salty air of the historic Old Port or view it all from the top in the region of Le Panier (the Montmartre of Marseille). As the capital of southern France, this city may not be typically French chiqué, but a visit will definitely be worth your while.
