On foot: Walk, walk, walk! There is plenty to discover in Lyon. Wander through the cobble street and passageway and be immersed in the superb architectural treasures and spiral staircases.

Taxi: The three main taxi providers are, Taxis Lyonnias, Taxi Lyon, and Allo Taxi. It is possible to hail taxis from the street or from taxis ranks. Drivers do not expect tips.

By Metro: The Metro network in Lyon is clean and easy to use. There is a total of four different lines and 40 stations crossing the city. A single ticket gives access to all public transport for an hour, but does not include return journeys. Tickets can be purchases from the machines at the Metro station.

Bus: The city of Lyon includes 120 bus lines leading you throughout the city and out of the city center to smaller surrounding towns.
